A Nakshi Kantha-inspired presentation connecting textile heritage, fashion and cultural storytelling.
The Story
Presented in association with the 8th Bengali Film Festival of Dallas, Nakshikanthar Chhobi brought together an exhibition and runway presentation inspired by the cultural language of Nakshi Kantha.
The project involved 11 designers from Bangladesh and West Bengal and explored connections between traditional craft references and contemporary fashion expression.
